Description

Indian Economy: A Business Perspective is a comprehensive 24-chapter textbook that bridges classical economic theory with the real-world business environment. By connecting macroeconomic factors like inflation, GST, and government policies to practical implications, it takes readers on a step-by-step journey through India’s economic landscape. The book covers fundamentals (demographics, resources), core sectors (rural economy, MSMEs, IT), financial infrastructure (banking, taxation, labour markets), and global frameworks (foreign trade, RBI, NITI Aayog). Crucially, it explores future trends like artificial intelligence, ESG, the green economy, and the vision of India @2047. Written in lucid Indian English with current data and real-world examples, it is an essential guide for Economics, Commerce, and Management students, researchers, exam aspirants, and managers seeking to understand the great Indian growth story.
