Description
The Book
The book “Recent Trends and Future Prospects in Food and Health Security” enunciates the global concern of food security. It contains twenty-four chapters by eminent researchers and scientists incorporating all relevant topics concerning food and health security. Over the last several years, scientists and academics have dwelt at length on food and health security, causing havoc in some parts of the world. We know that without mitigating the problem of food and health insecurity the world’s population cannot be in equilibrium. The wide range of deliberations in the recently concluded international conference organised by the University Department of Botany, L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga (Bihar) gave an impetus to compile a book systematically in lucid language. The book chapters have been contributed by renowned experts in the field of plant pathology, industrial microbiology, and biotechnology. The book will cater to the needs of postgraduate students and researchers of Botany and we are convinced that they will be able to get first-hand information concerning food security.
