Dr. Ajanta Nayak M.Sc. M.Phil., Ph.D. is a progressive academician with 20+ years of teaching and research experience in various blends of Home Science. Her main area of research interest is in community nutrition, textiles and tribal studies. She is conferred with the prestigious 73rd Kumudini Memorial Award by Odisha Science Congress Society. Selected for Young Scientist Award at Nutrition Society of India, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. She is currently working as Head, Department of Home Science, Shailabala Govt Women’s College, Bhubaneswar Odisha, India and is actively involved in Community Connect Programs in terms of teaching and field practice. She is a gold medallist throughout her academic career. She has also published many books and articles in National & International journals.

Smt. Padmaja Jagati is presently working as a Lecturer in Home Science at Shailbala Women’s Autonomous College, Cuttack. Smt. Jagati completed her M.Phil. in Home Science with first class from Berhampur University and Post Graduate in Home Science with first class first from Shailbala Women’s College and received the Kishorimani Devi Memorial Gold Medal and University Gold Medal in Home Science, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. She possesses more than 11 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. She has published many research papers in UGC Care-listed Journals and International Journals. She has also presented papers in many National and International Conferences. Her key research interests are Food and Nutrition, Family Resource Management and Guidance & Counselling.
